Tasks of the branch
Land management, survey and design, monitoring and research work in the region.
The main purpose of the branch is to carry out comprehensive land management measures aimed at implementing the decisions of state administration bodies, to conduct survey and design, research and monitoring work, and to provide services to business entities on a contractual basis.
- Developing comprehensive measures for carrying out land management work and improving the sector.
- Preparing projects for establishing new land plots and reorganising existing ones.
- Preparing design documents for the selection and allocation of land plots and marking out boundaries on site.
- Creating digital agricultural maps, deciphering land data and carrying out land inventories.
- Creating and maintaining the electronic land cadastre database and the “Land Information System” geoportal.
- Monitoring the condition of land and the changes taking place on it using unmanned aerial vehicles.
- Conducting geobotanical research on pastures and hayfields and compiling pasture maps.
- Compiling electronic crop placement maps and monitoring agrotechnical measures.
- Developing projects for crop rotation, land valuation and the recultivation of degraded land.
- Providing author supervision over the implementation of the prepared projects.
