On 20 December 2013, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution on “Science, technology and innovation for development”. The document recognised the possibility of equal and full access of women and girls of any age to the achievements of science, technology and innovation as a guarantee of ensuring gender equality in this field.
Two years later, at the plenary session of the UN General Assembly on 22 December 2015, 11 February was proclaimed the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
On the occasion of this date, the team of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute congratulates all our women in science in our country.
