Today, at the railway station in the city of Bukhara, the participants of the forum of the women working in the system of the Ministry of Agriculture on the topic “The responsibility of women scientists in state institutions and their place in society”, held at the initiative of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute, were welcomed.
The forum participants gathered at the “Labi hovuz” complex, the adornment of ancient and eternal Bukhara. At a cosy spot near the complex, the songs of a folk ensemble performing examples of oral folk art gave everyone a high spirits.
Then the respected elder women and the women working in the ministry’s system gathered around a cauldron to cook sumalak, the royal dish of spring. First, the juice of the sprouted wheat was extracted and poured into the cauldron.
The mood of the participants stirring the sumalak, which had begun to boil in the heat of the fire in the hearth, was also special.
The first day of the forum thus continued in such high spirits, turning into a sumalak festival.
