In accordance with Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-322 of 31 October 2025 “On additional measures for the sustainable supply of food products to the population”, it is planned to establish, under the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute, a Database Management Centre for pasture land without the status of a legal entity, and to launch a system of continuous monitoring of the condition of pastures by creating a unified information system for pasture management on the “Digital agriculture” single integration platform.
Also, in accordance with this resolution, the relevant ministries and agencies will jointly launch a project on the restoration of pastures by 1 July 2026, and the following tasks will be carried out:
🔹Establishing communal pastures — expanding the possibility of feeding livestock kept by the population at home;
🔹A full inventory of pastures — the condition and inventory of existing land;
🔹Restoring infrastructure — drilling water wells, propagating plant species, sowing seeds by drones and measures for the effective use of pastures;
🔹Strengthening management — establishing separate directorates for the management of pasture land and the development of infrastructure under Karakalpakstan and the regions;
🔹Continuous monitoring — setting up a Database Management Centre under “Uzdavyerloyiha” and a unified information system on the “Digital agriculture” platform.
📌Within the resolution, it is planned to prevent pasture degradation, to establish seed production of productive desert and pasture plants and to introduce foreign experience (including that of China and Mongolia) into practice.
