It has been determined that in 2023–2025, 120 thousand hectares of sown areas will be leased to the population through an open electronic competition.
In 2023, 95,169 hectares of sown areas — from land freed up from cotton and grain in the use of farms and clusters in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regions, located close to settlements and with a good water supply — will be leased to the population through an open electronic competition.
In doing so:
sown areas are leased to citizens for a period of 30 years:
from land with a good water supply — in sizes from 0.15 to 1 hectare in the Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions, from 0.30 to 1 hectare in other regions and from 0.30 to 2 hectares in the Republic of Karakalpakstan;
from low-water land — in sizes from 0.50 to 1 hectare in the regions and from 0.50 to 2 hectares in the Republic of Karakalpakstan;
if only 1 applicant takes part in the open electronic competition organised in 2022–2023 for granting sown areas to the population for running a dehkan farm, the competition is, as an exception, considered to have been held;
in districts with a well-developed greenhouse network, the construction of light-structure greenhouses without heating systems is permitted on the sown areas allocated to dehkan farms.
