A meeting on “Gender equality” issues was held at the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute with the participation of the institute’s women, led by Maxfuza Abdullayeva, the General Director’s adviser on gender equality issues.
At this meeting, the issues of establishing a primary women’s organisation at the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute, approving the relevant regulations on the primary women’s organisation and approving its composition were discussed, and the composition was approved.
According to the relevant order, Kamola Xaitova was appointed deputy chair of the council and Arabova Gulbodom secretary of the council.
The meeting also noted that the issue of gender equality has been raised to the level of state policy in our country and spoke about the work being carried out and the opportunities created so that women working at the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute can work effectively and increase their interest in their professions.
At this meeting, held under the slogan “Gender equality is a sign of democratic development”, the speakers expressed their opinions and comments.
