Young people are the builders of the future. A visit to the Navoiy region on the development of domestic tourism was organised with the participation of the young employees of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute. Within the domestic tourism development project, a trip was organised to the archaeological monument of the Navoiy region and to the Sarmishsoy gorge, famous for its natural and archaeological monuments, petroglyphs and rare species of flora and fauna.
For reference, within the framework of Decree of the President No. PF-87 of 15 May 2025 “On measures to increase the role and importance of tourism in the economy by sharply increasing the flow of tourists and rapidly expanding the scope of tourist services in 2025–2026”, as well as of the tasks set out in protocol No. 79 of the meeting held under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 1 May 2025, it was determined that domestic tourism should be developed in the regions and that conditions should be created for employees of enterprises and organisations and their families to travel to the picturesque destinations of our country.
