“IMPROVING THE MONITORING OF RAIN-FED LAND THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES (ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE KASHKADARYA REGION)”
Right now, the defence of the dissertation of Sharopov Ramziddin Najmiddinovich, a doctoral student of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute, on the topic “Improving the monitoring of rain-fed land through the application of innovative technologies (on the example of the Kashkadarya region)” for the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in agricultural sciences in the speciality 06.01.10 — “Land management, cadastre and land monitoring”
The practical results of the research are as follows:
an electronic digital map at a scale of 1:10,000 was drawn up in the ArcGIS software for the users of rain-fed land in the G‘uzor district of the Kashkadarya region;
a 3D model of the rain-fed land area of the Alisher Navoi massif of the G‘uzor district of the Kashkadarya region was built;
the scientific and methodological manual “Monitoring of rain-fed and pasture land” on the effective and productive use of rain-fed areas was developed.
