This nationwide holiday, 9 May, declared the “Day of Remembrance and Honour”, was widely celebrated in our country.
On this occasion, the veterans of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute — the pride of the field, who made a great contribution to the institute’s development, devoted their youth and strength to it and today, enjoying their old age, generously share their skills and advice with the rising young generation — were visited and their well-being enquired after, and the institute’s General Director R. A. Turayev presented them with letters of gratitude and food packages.
With tears in their eyes and great pleasure, the institute’s veterans spoke about the paths they had travelled during their lives, the interesting events they had experienced in their work, and the relevance and hardships of the field.
