Today, a meeting on the content and essence of Resolution No. 9 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 15 January 2026 “On measures to develop a reading culture and increase interest in reading books among the population” and on the tasks set out in it was held under the leadership of Xojiyev Kuchkor Mamadiyorovich, adviser to the General Director of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute. The meeting focused on enriching the spiritual outlook of employees and developing a reading culture.
In his speech, the General Director’s adviser particularly emphasised the incomparable role of books in elevating human thinking, as well as the scientific potential and important place of the research publications issued in the field. The tasks to be carried out under the “Book — a source of enlightenment” programme set out in the resolution were also discussed.
