The journal “O‘zbekiston zamini”, founded by the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was registered as a scientific, practical and innovative journal under No. 1006 on 10 January 2019 and began to be published.
The journal’s editorial board is composed of prominent scientists from Russia, Poland, Armenia and Slovakia, well-known academicians, professors and doctors of science of our republic, and heads of relevant organisations.
Having been considered by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the journal “O‘zbekiston zamini” was, by letters No. 01-06/1733 of 1 December 2020 and No. 01-06/1993 of 31 December 2020, included in the list of national scientific publications recommended for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations in technical, economic, architectural, biological, geographical and agricultural sciences. This determines its relevance for those conducting research.
The journal is intended to be published once every quarter of the year. At present, work is under way on publishing issue 4 of 2022.
Every publication has its own focus and its own reader. In particular, the journal “O‘zbekiston zamini” covers the topics of the rational use of land resources in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the regulation of land relations, the organisation of land management and land monitoring, and the preservation, improvement and restoration of soil fertility. Its remit also includes covering the creation of high-quality, high-yielding varieties of agricultural crops and their introduction into production, the coordination of the activities of state administration bodies and local state authorities in managing agriculture, the maintenance of the state land cadastre, as well as fundamental, scientific-practical and innovative work related to land relations.
It may be said here that the journal also contributes to promoting the scientific and creative achievements, as well as the production achievements, of the employees, institutions, enterprises and organisations working within the system of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to popularising the best of them.
The meetings, round tables, consultations, conferences, exhibitions, councils and presentation ceremonies held on the development of the system are also covered in this journal.
