The scientific and practical journal “O‘zbekiston zamini”, published by “Uzdavyerloyiha” SSDI, is being registered with the DOI prefix 10.63027
At the initiative of the General Director of “Uzdavyerloyiha” SSDI under the Ministry of Agriculture, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Ruhiddin Amirkulovich Turayev, the institute became a member of “Crossref”, the world’s largest metadata search system, from the second quarter of 2024. As a result, the possibility has been created for all research works published in the “O‘zbekiston zamini” journal to be placed in the world’s leading scientific and bibliographic catalogues.
For reference: DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is a standard for identifying information about an electronic document placed on the global internet. The data contained in a DOI includes its location, that is, its URL, the name of the object, information about the authors and other identifiers (for example, a book’s ISBN), as well as a set of descriptive data related to the given object.
The presence of a DOI number makes it possible to minimise the risk of a broken link and increases the citation index value of a research work. DOI is a standard adopted by all the world’s leading publishers. A DOI number considerably facilitates citing a research work and the process of searching for and locating a scientific article. The presence of a DOI ensures the protection of intellectual property. If an article with a DOI number refers to and cites journals included in prestigious databases such as “Scopus” and “Web of Science”, it too is included in those databases, and this significantly increases the article’s importance.
