As you know, the Minister of Agriculture Ibrohim Abdurahmonov is on a working visit to the Fergana region.
During the visit, he is closely acquainting himself with the work being carried out at cotton receiving points, in fields and at agricultural facilities.
In particular, in accordance with the visit programme, the minister took part in the opening ceremony of the new building of the Fergana regional division of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” institute of the ministry’s system, which meets modern requirements.
The division carries out its work in the Fergana region on land management, geobotanical research on pastures, the design of land plots for agricultural purposes and putting them up for auction, the preparation of design documents for changing land fund categories, the calculation of the normative value of agricultural land for taxation, the monitoring of agricultural land and crops using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), and doctoral studies.
This modern building was constructed over 9 months on the basis of approved design and estimate documents at the expense of the funds of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” institute.
It should be said that a “Doctoral studies” department in the speciality “Land management, cadastre and land monitoring” has been established here, and many young people from Fergana are successfully defending their research work and receiving the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in agricultural sciences.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Ibrohim Abdurahmonov noted that the creation of such conditions and the construction of ever new state institutions in the country are the result of the special instructions of the head of our state. Accordingly, he noted that the rise of such a modern building at the initiative of the head of our state is another manifestation of the attention paid to education in agriculture, and wished the institute success in its future work.
As the head of our state has emphasised, drawing up the land balance is of primary importance. It should be said that land does not always remain in the same state — its balance changes. This must be calculated comprehensively and continuously.
Also speaking at the ceremony, the governor of the Fergana region Xayrulla Bozorov particularly noted that showing comprehensive attention and care to the youth of new Uzbekistan is becoming the most important and priority direction of the state policy being pursued in our country, and wished the institute success in its work.
Of course, behind the construction of such modern buildings lies the importance of employees working with enthusiasm and conducting ever new research; employees are required to make use of the opportunities and work properly.
Building magnificent buildings is good, but what we need is magnificent scholarship, knowledge, qualifications, skills and magnificent thinking.
