Today, showing comprehensive attention and care to the youth of new Uzbekistan is becoming the most important and priority direction of the state policy being pursued in our country.
It should be particularly noted that in this process the ranks of our young men and women are steadily growing — those who see their own fate and future as inseparably linked with the fate and prospects of our Motherland, who are ready to overcome any trial and hardship on this path, to show courage and fortitude, and who have deeply mastered modern knowledge and professions.
It is true that the wide celebration of 30 June as “Youth Day” every year since 2017, at the initiative of the head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is also imbued with such ideas as supporting young people, raising a healthy and harmoniously developed generation and turning them into active and direct participants in the political, social and economic reforms being carried out in the country.
🇺🇿Accordingly, it is no coincidence that the Minister of Agriculture Ibrohim Abdurahmonov, who is on a working visit to the Khorezm region today, met with the region’s young people.
During a sincere conversation with the young people, Ibrohim Abdurahmonov, drawing on his own research career and accumulated experience, spoke about the role of scientific achievements not only in the life of society but also in the country’s development, and about how creating all the conditions for young people to acquire knowledge and to develop innovative ideas and start-ups has been raised to the level of state policy in our country.
The next of the practical steps in solving the social and economic problems of the young generation and ensuring their employment, teaching them professions and providing them with work, showing them attention, care and support, took the form of a sincere dialogue.
Most importantly, today’s young people are eloquent and extremely bright. Conversing fluently with the minister in English, they were able to set out their goals and start-up projects clearly. It can be said that they are the hopes of the future — energetic, with their own path and their own word in life, capable today of also making demands of those in charge.
Of course, as the most influential force of society, the young people of our country today actively participate in the broad reforms being carried out in our state and come forward with their ideas and proposals for the development of our Motherland.
The meeting, whose main theme was science, research and innovative developments, was rich in questions and answers. The inquisitive young people once again became convinced that studying, conducting tireless research in one’s chosen profession and thereby not only achieving high results but also contributing to the development of the country’s science also determines a person’s place in society.
In a word, the meeting of the young people of Khorezm with the Minister of Agriculture Ibrohim Abdurahmonov served as a kind of motivation for them to continue their research and achieve ever new successes.
For young people are the hopes of our Motherland’s tomorrow, the continuers of our future. In this sense, realising their dreams and aspirations and life goals, being a firm wing for them, must become a great and vital goal of today. This visit will undoubtedly serve as an important practical step in this regard.
