At the “Sahid Zarafshon” hotel in the city of Bukhara, on the occasion of 8 March — “International Women’s Day” — and at the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, the forum of the women scientists of the system of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute on the topic “The responsibility of women scientists in state institutions and their place in society” has begun its work.
Opening the forum with a welcoming address, the General Director of the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute Ruhiddin To‘rayev spoke about how the women scientists working in the organisations of the Ministry of Agriculture’s system are active in the field with their research and initiatives, and about the wide opportunities created for them in our country.
After that, Firuza Xodjayeva, head of the Department of International Cooperation and Rankings of the Ministry of Agriculture, noted in her speech that today our women are taking their place in every field with their activity and their leadership potential.
She also said that the opportunities created for our women scientists working in state and non-state organisations, educational institutions and research institutes are greater than ever, and that the respect and honour shown to them is another manifestation of the attention and respect created for women today, said F. Xodjayeva.
