THE “UZDAVYERLOYIHA” INSTITUTE HAS PREPARED 170,016 LOTS ACROSS THE REPUBLIC FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO RUN DEHKAN FARMS
As you know, on 5 April this year the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No. 153 “On measures to increase the incomes and ensure the employment of young people by allocating land to them, as well as to develop new land areas”.
According to the resolution, 60 thousand hectares of land held in reserve by district administrations are put up for electronic online auctions and leased to young people for setting up dehkan farms, and the following new system, covering the chain from the production to the sale of agricultural products, is introduced:
electronic online auctions for leasing out 60 thousand hectares of land are held through the “E-auksion” electronic trading platform among the young people (applicants) included in the list formed on the recommendation of the “mahalla seven”.
As of 7 May this year, the “Uzdavyerloyiha” State Scientific and Design Institute has allocated a total of 61,465.3 hectares of land across the Republic for young people in 170,016 lots, and the winners of 91,822 lots on a total of 28,391.15 hectares have been determined.
